And your Scouts can earn the Summertime Fun Adventure!
And your Scouts can earn the Summertime Fun Adventure!
Your Families will have fun.
Your Pack will grow.
Organizing & Recruiting in the Fall will be easier.
"We make Day Camp part of our culture."
- Joshua Grove, CM, Pack 3048
"Our Pack meets every week during the Summer, not for meetings and advancement, but just for fun."
-- Nathan Steele, CC, Pack 3001
Sponsored by Council and Districts
Each individual Cub Scout in your Pack can earn the Summertime Fun Adventure. The only requirement: "Anytime during May through August, participate in a total of three Cub Scout Activities."
The activities can be sponsored by the District or Council, like the activities above on the calendar, or organized by the Pack or Den like the ideas below.
Summer is for rising Tigers through AOLs. Lion Scouts do not join until the beginning of Kindergarten in the Fall, so rising Lions do not earn the Summertime Fun Adventure.
REMEMBER: The program year starts on June 1 each year (or whenever school is done for the year), so Scouts earn the Summertime Fun Adventure for the program year they will be in in the Fall.
Each youth who does three activities will receive through their Pack a belt loop or pin as shown in the graphic at the top of the page.
